Nursing, Registered Nurse (Full Time and PRN)

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current registration with the Louisiana State Board of Nursing. Prior hospital experience required. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Must speak, read, and comprehend the English language.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to withstand strenuous physical activity such as constant standing and walking during work periods, turning, lifting, stooping, bending, stretching and lifting to assist patients. Manual dexterity to administer care. Visual and aural acuity to detect changes in patientsโ€™ conditions.

Work Schedule

Must be able to work eight and twelve (8 and 12) hour shifts to include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be flexible to meet the needs of the department.

Emergency Department, Technician (PRN)

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have completed a minimum of one (1) nursing clinical course of an accredited nursing program. Must possess current basic cardiac life support certification.

Laboratory, Medical Technologist or Medical Technician (PRN)

Qualifications

Current Louisiana license. ASCP certified. Three years work experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

Fine motor coordination, clear speech, good hearing and visual acuity, including color perception. Mobility by walking is required. Requires some physical exertion and includes long periods of standing, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, reaching, or similar activities. Recurring lifting of moderately heavy items (less than 50 pounds/23 kg).

Work Schedule

Must be able to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and shift rotation as assigned.

Environmental Services, Laundry Aide (Full Time)

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required. Previous housekeeping/laundry experience preferred. Prior experience in hard floor maintenance a plus. Unrestricted driverโ€™s license required.

Physical Requirements

Ability to walk, stand, sit, push, pull, stretch, and bend. Must be able to move continuously during work hours and able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds (12 kg). Visual acuity to use and care for cleaning equipment, measure cleaning solutions, and be alert to hazards. Ability to read and follow oral/written instructions. Ability to operate cleaning equipment.

Work Schedule

Flexibility to work all shifts/rotations as assigned to meet department and facility needs.

 
 
 

Dietary, Cook (PRN)

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. One year prior experience in healthcare quantity food production system preferred.

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in hot humid environment. Endures frequent contact with water. Endures dramatic temperature changes (entering/exiting refrigerator or freezer). Ability to lift up to 30 pounds (14 kg) including food, equipment, and materials. Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time. Ability to stoop, bend, stretch, pull, and push. Visual acuity to use computer system and to verify accuracy of written material.

Work Schedule

Must be able to work all shifts and rotations as assigned.

Physical Therapy Outpatient, Rehab Technician (Full Time)

Qualifications

High School diploma required. Current CPR certification required. Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred. Basic knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy preferred.

Physical Requirements

Ability to meet physical demands of a clinical environment, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting, and assisting patients during therapeutic activities. Visual, auditory, cognitive, and emotional ability to recognize patientsโ€™ needs and respond appropriately. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Awareness of potential exposure to communicable diseases in a healthcare setting.

Work Schedule

Monday โ€“ Friday. Clinic hours as required to meet the needs of the clinic. Flexibility a must.

Pharmacy, Pharmacist (PRN)

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree. Must possess a valid license to practice pharmacy in the State of Louisiana. Hospital experience preferred.

Work Schedule

Monday โ€“ Friday, 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM and on call for nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.
