Colorectal Screening

Is it time for your colorectal cancer screening? Regular screening, beginning at age 50, remains the most effective way to prevent and detect colorectal cancer early. Don’t assume you’re too young to be at risk. When people stop assuming, they take action — they get screened, seek support, pay closer attention to early symptoms, and become proactive advocates for their health. The reality is that colorectal cancer is increasingly being diagnosed in individuals under the age of 50. In fact, 1 in 9 colorectal cancer cases are now found in people younger than 50.

Dr. Donald Doucet, who completed medical school at Louisiana State University, brings over 35 years of medical expertise to his practice. To prioritize your health and arrange your initial consultation with Dr. Doucet, call (225) 638-4585 today!

Digital Mammography

Our primary goal is to always deliver high-quality care to our patients, which is why we use advanced, digital mammography technology. With digital 3D mammography, the radiologist reviews electronic images of the breast using special high-resolution monitors.

Mammograms play a central part in the early detection of breast cancer because they can detect changes in the breast that are too small or subtle to be felt during a self-breast exam. All forms of mammography use compression and X-Rays to create clear images of the inside of the breast.
