The Pointe Coupee General Hospital Emergency Department continually strives to ensure that those seeking emergent treatment receive the best care possible. Currently the department treats over 1000 patients per month. A physician staffs the department 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. Licensed nursing personnel assigned to the Emergency Department must be ACLS, PALS and TNCC certified.
