Dr. Patricia Toups is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in child and adolescent psychiatry, with over 35 years of experience in the field. She earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans in 1990. Following medical school, Dr. Toups completed her psychiatric residency at LSU School of Medicine/Ochsner Clinic Foundation from 1990 to 1993. She furthered her expertise by completing a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at LSU School of Medicine from 1993 to 1995.
Dr. Toups is currently licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana and is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.
She practices at the Pointe Coupee Human Services Center in New Roads, Louisiana, where she provides outpatient psychiatric services to children, adolescents, and adults referred by primary care providers.
