Dr. Daniel Fontenot is an interventional cardiologist in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport, graduating in 1987. Following medical school, he completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Norwalk Hospital, Yale University School of Medicine, from 1987 to 1990. He then undertook a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans from 1990 to 1993.

Dr. Fontenot is board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease, and holds the title FACC (Fellow of the American College of Cardiology). He has maintained his medical license in Louisiana since he graduated in 1987, and has been in practice since then.

In his clinical work, Dr. Fontenot specializes in interventional cardiology. His practice is with Baton Rouge Cardiology Center, where he sees patients at the main offices and also multiple satellite clinics.
