About
Dr. Courtney Morgan is a board-certified family medicine physician practicing in Louisiana. She earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport in 2018. Previously, she completed a master’s in medical science at Mississippi College in 2014 and holds a BS in Biology from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Earlier credentials include nursing: an ADN-RN, and work as an LPN.
Her residency in Family Medicine was with the LSU Rural Family Medical Residency Program, based in Bogalusa, Louisiana, concluding in 2021. Dr. Morgan has held licensure in Louisiana since 2019 and previously in Mississippi.
Dr. Morgan describes her medical philosophy as patient-centered and individualized. She sees patients of all ages — from newborns through geriatrics — and is particularly interested in women’s health, hormone replacement therapy (both for women and men), and aesthetic medicine. Outside of her clinical practice, she has substantial experience in rural health care in Louisiana, and an entrepreneurial spirit: she founded Gleaux Rx, which offers primary care and aesthetic services.
Dr. Morgan is from Winnsboro, Louisiana. Her journey includes balancing family life with her medical training. She has four children and one grandchild. Her interests include medical missions, continuing education, travel, and being active with her family around False River.
