About

Dr. Christian N. Smith is a board-certified family medicine physician dedicated to caring for patients of all ages with compassion and a focus on long-term wellness. He earned his undergraduate degrees in Biology and Spanish from Northwestern State University in 2016, where he was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society. Dr. Smith earned his medical degree in 2022 from St. George’s University, Grenada, West Indies. He completed his residency training at the Mississippi Delta Family Medicine Residency in Greenville, Mississippi, where he served as Chief Resident in 2025.

Dr. Smith is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana. His clinical interests include preventive care, chronic disease management such as diabetes and high blood pressure, and in-office procedures including joint injections, skin biopsies, abscess drainage, and laceration repair.

Born in Baton Rouge and raised in Lottie, Louisiana, Dr. Smith is proud to return home to serve his community through The Baton Rouge Clinic where he joins Dr. Bordelon and Dr. Doucet. He is fluent in Spanish and looks forward to providing accessible care for Spanish-speaking patients. When Dr. Smith is not seeing patients or in the office, he enjoys fishing, camping, chess, bowling, reading, and spending time with his chocolate Lab.
