About
Dr. Aimee Coscarart is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist who with her unique blend of medical expertise and creative vision, approaches skin care as both a science and an art form. Dr. Coscarart believes that dermatology is not just about treatments but about enhancing each individual’s natural beauty and health.
Dr. Coscarart earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans and completed her dermatology residency and dermatopathology fellowship at Tulane University Medical School in New Orleans.
Throughout her career, Dr. Coscarart has focused on both medical and cosmetic dermatology, specializing in skin, hair and nail care from neonates to geriatric patients. Through training and continuous education, she is well-versed in advanced techniques in Botox and dermal fillers. Her artistic eye allows her to create harmonious and natural-looking results, tailoring each treatment to the unique features and goals of her patients.
Dr. Coscarart is also dedicated to patient education and empowerment, providing comprehensive consultations that help her patients understand their options and feel confident in their choices. She has experience with academic dermatology and private practice. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and has published articles in the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Dermatology Online Journal, and Journal of Cutaneous Pathology. Her father, Dr. Paul Rachal, is a physician with Our Lady of the Lake Physician Group at our Sisters of St. Joseph Medical Plaza.
