Dr. Adam Whatley is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip, knee, shoulder, and sports medicine. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Zoology, cum laude, from Louisiana State University and his Doctor of Medicine from LSU Health Sciences Center – School of Medicine in New Orleans. Dr. Whatley completed his orthopedic residency at LSU Health Sciences Center and pursued a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at Harvard University's Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. He is affiliated with Baton Rouge Orthopedic Clinic and practices at their various locations.

Dr. Whatley is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Medical Association, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, and the Louisiana Orthopedic Association. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Whatley serves as the team physician for Zachary High School and West Feliciana High School, providing sports medicine coverage for local student-athletes. He is also involved in community activities, including volunteering with his children's schools and supporting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
